Would like to share my sugi which is flowering at the moment. No special treatment in terms of culture. The typical reflexing petals are Not that Kind of flower which most Paph lovers prefer, but I like this species anyway.

Beautiful! Yes, the blooms have the graceful appearance of the dancer. Even the long dancing stem appear to be in motion!
Absolutely wondrous. Well done. I hope you are pollinating? Have not seen this offered.

Great growing, in my experience, it's a bit touchy. Probably wants much lower light than I can provide. Fun anecdote, if you grow them indoors, in very stable conditions, under artificial light that's on the blueish side, the petals will show minimal to no reflexing.

Leslie, they can look this way because they haven't been staked. If they were staked they wouldn't look that unique but boring.
