This is a plant I collected in Peru in 2006. It spiked last year. I assumed by the buds that this was a Stelis but thought they never opened. I assumed it blasted prior to opening.

While examining it today,I happen to have my glasses handy, I have discovered that a few flowers have opened. I have no idea what this is. Any help would be appreciated. I still assume it is a Stelis

The plant is about 5" tall in a 2.5" pot. I did the best I could with a close-up of these small flowers.

Ron, do those flowers already have opened completely? If the 2 closed parts would open too, there would be the flower form that I know from my Stelis species! Jean

Jean, as far as I know, they are opened completely. I have seen some Stelis species that open in this manner and not the typical 3 or 4-sided star shape
