This is a deciduous Spathoglottis. After the leaves are dropped, it started to send up the flower shoot. This is the first bloom for me. It has really nice lemon yellow color, and cheers up the dark winter days of Alaska. I got it from Lee's Botanical Gardens 2 years ago.

I'm not sure if I'm growing well, but it seems to have a very short growing season (6 months or so). If you have tips of growing this species, I appreciate it. For example, what do you do during the dormancy? I've been keeping it somewhat moist during the winter, and keep it warm all year long.
