Been trying to bloom this one for 2 years. I finally think I got it right. One growth had 2 buds, this growth 4 and another growth on it's way.

I love cernua...I used to have one that bloomed every year, on a mount. A neighbor kid through the mount into a turtle tank. 'nuff said................Eric

It needs to dry quickly after watering, therefore the cork mount. Water frequently in the summer. Fertilize regularly. Water infrequently in the winter (1X per week) Onc level light.

my advice is do not overwater...

I almost killed mine as it lost most of its roots when I watered too often. I keep mine in a shallow bonsai pot. Some people grow them on slabs.

I water my 'specimen' every day almost. Maybe every other day in the winter. It is mounted on cork. Covered with flowers right now, so it must work. If I could find my camera I'd take a picture.

I think the trick is don't let it stay wet. Getting it wet frequently doesn't seem to be a problem for me, but it drys out fast.
