A consistent bloomer for me twice a year. The November/December bloom cycle is always much better than the secondary, spring blooming. 11 flowers on 3 leads this year. It’s done better in the past, so I may need to move it to a brighter spot, the plants around it have really put on a lot of growth this year. Regardless, the bright orange is so cheerful on a cold morning!

I think I just got lucky with this plant. I have sent many Sophronitis to the orchid ranch in the sky, even other cernua. In particular, I found the strains from Japan to be very touchy in my conditions, even when growing right next to this one.

I'm jealous too! I tried this one and it just did not like my conditions. Thank you NE!
