Here is a photo of a first boom complex that I grew from flask. It was the only one that I didn’t kill. It has a bud starting in the normal spot, as well as not one but two buds coming from the base of the plant. One of the ones at the base is starting to starting to swell. The other one at the base is still flat. Anyone ever see such a thing? No chemicals have been used in the last 15 years. Only used horticulture oil.

Yes, a new growth certainly makes since. That was my initial thought, however I have never seen a new growth that has gotten so plump and appear to be a bud. Time will tell, and I probable should have waited to post. Just has me a little confused.
