Saturday's trip

Today, my parents and I went on a short trip to Otmuchów. Otmuchów is a small town with old XIII century castle. Every year the town organizes a festival of flowers and this was our destination.

First the castle:

Very nice, when my parents were living in Slovakia Poland was their favorite country to visit, particularly the Tatra mountain area. When I was visiting them I didn't have the chance to go up to Poland.

That looks like a great outing. Beautiful flowers.

Interesting art with the manikin pieces.

Also interesting to see Native Americans coming over to Poland. Do you know where they came from?

My mother's family is from Poland, and I've visited a couple places...it really is a beautiful country, as your photos clearly show! Thanks for sharing!

I love foxglove (isn't that's what's just below the bonsai?). We don't grow them because of the boy and pets.

yup, both foxglove and delphinium (which i think may also be toxic. then again, lots of houseplants are. know why dumbcane is called dumbcane?)
thanks for the groovy photos!
