The name Satin Smoke makes more sense when flowers of this cross have predominate colorinig of dusky rose without much yellow/green background, and a nearly white lip. This very yellow form with limited reddish tones perhaps comes from a selected intense yellow primulinum parent like we see today but not used for the original cross, registered 20+ years ago. I would assume that a breeder using micranthum as a parent is looking for pink tesselation, not a clear yellow.
Not that this isn't very nice in some ways, just puzzling.
