Both are lovely and grown and flowered to perfection. I've always been a sucker for Sarcs.Thank you for all the comments and likes. Here is the Sarcochilus fitzgeraldii
It most probably is the lower temperature during cooler winter months. The inflorescences start developing during July and August, which is our winter. Our night time temperatures during that period range between 1 - 7 degrees C and daytime temperatures 14 - 18 degrees C. We live on an estuary and it is fairly humid and damp through the year, which could possibly be an advantage as well.Well grown and flowered!
Mine just grows with no flowers lol.
What do you think triggers blooming? Low night temperatures?
