Only 1 flower, there is another inflourescence emerging from other growth, not sure it will develop this season so I'm posting this one

It looks like a good size, healthy plant. Any guesses as to why just one flower? Looks like a nice flower. Could you provide some dimensions? Thanks. Mike

Not sure why just 1 flower, it is blooming out of a really old growth, there is another growth in low sheath with a half inch start, I'm hoping that one will bloom out although spring is pretty much over here.....the petal width is 8 1/4 inches the dorsel is 2" wide and 2 1/2 tall, I think that flower is about average

I'm betting it spikes up with a higher flower count, either on the low bud or on a future blooming.
