Rhyncolaelia glauca comes from Mexico, it requires an intermediate climate and when growing, should be fertilised and watered adequately. When not in growth, it is given drier conditions. Good air circulation is essential, and maximum sunlight short of leaf burn will ensure maximum flowering. Also known as Brassavola glauca.

Very nice one, Ron, do you have it potted or mounted? I have one mounted, did not yet flower (7 years!), and one potted that flowered in oct.. This one, after flowering put up 3 new shoots, where 2 have died back?! As much sun as available in Lux. these last months! perhaps not enough?! Jean

Argh... how can it be a Ryncholaelia and a Brassovola!? It doesn't look anything like Rynchostylis....

(Ron, please beware, I am coming off a show and was in a judging group I don't know (not the Vandaceous tho) but I'm on a learning trend so I am prone to asking annoying questions right now...)
