Hi, can someone tell me what's wrong with the Slipper Orchid Forum?
For more than a week, I try to login. Automatically does it not, after
several emails I got from the admin then after all rights to read.
Have also written equal to 3 posts. 1 my idea, 1 = to a question about a disease and 3 to Orchid substrate. I was able to submit posts, but they are not visible. It was not possible to edit my profile (i.e. add an avatar). Even the admin I have 2 mails to get a response.
Can someone give me info on this?

    regards
    Bernd

oh dear .... do I dare?????
It's probably not worth the trouble, it could be just a technical zilch but who knows????
There are many of us that were banned from that forum.

Maybe you should post your questions here. You don't seem to be having any technical issues with this forum.

Very appropriate, actually. SOF is the reason for this forum's existence. If it hadn't been for the flakiness and pettiness of its administration, this forum probably wouldn't be here. Some us simply wanted a forum where we could discuss our ideas and plants without having to have our posts censored, deleted, receive angry emails, or possibly (leading to definitely) being banned for....mentioning people or websites the admin had a grudge against? Sound absurd? It certainly was. Had that forum been run the way this one is, there would never have been a need for ST....and Heather would still be there as a moderator. On the other hand, banning Heather was the best gift the rest of us could get!

Hi, I think my posting here has done a miracle. After all, my 3 postings are seeing now, but i have still no access to my profile. I think I can "check off" of this forum.
I deceided to use google translate, so i can post at this forum.
Now, i post my introduction at this forum again !
    regards

Bernd -It could be short lived but Peter would like to make liars of us too. Peter (SOF) might not have responded because he knows you're here on this forum. Some members here belong to both but I suspect they're using an alias, which is their choice. When I decided to check out ST, I used the same screen name as I did at SOF, I had nothing to hide, it's a free country, I should be able to make my own choices. Hours later I got a private message from him inquiring as to what I was doing over there? Funny from that point on I could only read posts, not make any and then not be able to log on, in other words BANNED!
Good things happen for a reason, we don't always know it at the time!

Suffice it to say, Glad you are here, Bernd! You must know Olaf Gruss, who is also from Bavaria and a member here. We are lucky to be a very open and global family here so please never worry about any language barriers! :)

Thanks for the kind words, as usual, guys.

WOW, why would a forum or someone go to that level of low? I'm shocked! But I'm grateful for the openness and kindness of all here! This is truly a wonderful forum with wonderful people!
