A couple new blooms this week - Paph. delenatii and Paph. Hung Sheng Lake x Hung Sheng Bay. First bloom for the Hung Sheng cross. Delenatii blooms reliably for me every year.

How did you get that idea, Stephen?
A very nice deli with a good form, a very well coloured staminode, a nicely coloured pouch, and - in comparison to the HSL x HSB, with a very good size, too, it seems. But vini...njah...?!

Yes, it is what it is: a nice standard delenatii. So sweet!

Thanks everyone. Here is a close up of delenatii with its petals now not so flat! The second flower isn't open yet but I'll post another picture when it is.

IMHO The pouch and staminode are darker than the 'standard/older' delis. I think one parent was a, so-called, vini type.
Lori, can you tell us the parents of the deli, please?

Yes, the parents are 'Ruby' x self.
