    The parentage of this lowii is New Horizons X Mem. Agnes Helbing. I got the plant from Fox Valley, and its been a bit of a surprise. Unlike most of the other pics I've seen from this cross, this one is a pleasant pastel version.

    This is the third blooming of this plant and definitely the best yet.

    Neither the flowers or leaves are especially big Eric (although size is not the only expression associated with ploidy issues).

    The flowers are a good 14cm but I'm pretty sure record lowii flowers are > 16cm

    I was thinking of selfing it and see if it "shakes up the dice".

    The dorsal pretty damn good too. Not super wide but not a tube either.

    didn't know this species bloom at such small size.
    I've only ever seen a few single growth plants in bloom. All were gigantic!
