Plane crash into upper east side condo

I think we've heard from most of our NYC members today.
Crazy though - I cannot get over what people on the street must have been thinking.

Yanks have had a bad week. Usually I'm all for that but this is sad news.

my school is 4 blocks from there. Also my friend's ex-wife lives in the building...i hope she is okay.

I know many people who live 2 buildings away in the Helmsley building at 70th and york including my longtime girlfriend/sometimes friend who was in her apartment at the time. She said she heard a loud noise and could see the fire.

I lived 2 blocks away when I was younger 72nd between 2nd and 3rd

My heart goes out to the families of those that were killed.

last i heard was that there was no one hurt in the building. Two bodies were found in the wreckage one being Cory Lidle
