I keep misspelling this company's name. Phrao Orchids Nursery. This is where I got the seedlings of Paph con color v longipetalum at the POE. They are on Facebook and I assume one could contact them there about future US shows. Nice variety of species. I bought the paph last year and through my neglect killed it dead. This time I got 3 as well as a weird bulbo and immediately potted them up. Nice roots on the Paph concolor v longipetalums. The weird bulbo is growing too. In the interest of full disclosure I liked them on Facebook and said they had nice species and a nice assortment of species. (They may have hybrids too, but I usually look for species.)

I think Eric is trying to say that they typically fetch a higher price so they are often mislabeled or switched. Sometimes, perhaps by accident.

I have dealt with 'Katai'/Janyaporn- Phrao Orchids Nursery (Chiangmai, Thailand) a few times now and I have to say that she is extremely friendly and pleasure to do business with. She's ones of those people that have just have that sort of glow to them. She has some fantastic plants in her GH's and access to growers with stuff I only see pics of.

I recently picked up a Drymoda siamensis that originated from her and it is in great condition for a finicky plant. Also, one not often for sale.

In light of her plant selections, she has some very hard to find stuff. Not all of it makes it to the US shows which is unfortunate. It may be a paperwork issue, but I am not sure. I did get a thaianum that had a tough transit but is making progress, so some get through.

Here is a link to her Flickr site and FB

My only suggestion for her is to be more involved with her business promotions outside of FB, which to be honest is so flooded with garbage that most people stay elsewhere. If you do PM on FB she is excellent about responding regardless of which random country she may be in. She also speaks great English which is always a plus. If other buyers here are interested in more of her stuff I think we should encourage her to get some preorder lists available for this year. She certainly has the stock available.
