I had tried to post this a few months ago but the pictures didn't work. I'm trying again.

This was the first bloom from a seedling and, I think the first one was pretty impressive. Here are the measurements:

natural spread. 4.45cm
Dorsal sepal width. 2cm
Dorsal Sepal length. 12cm
Petal width. .7cm
Petal length. 48cm
Synsepal width. 3.5cm
Synsepal length. 11.5cm
Pouch width. 2.25cm
Pouch length. 5.25c

Very nice and 3 blooms on the spike.


It's easier to get pics to upload when they are smaller. I'd try to keep them under 600X500

I think those measurements are pretty respectable, especially for a first bloom, yes?
 
That's one of the things this species is known for; that porcelain white pouch... It's so nice, with the green and yellow
 
Very nice! I have a Stairway to Heaven that I am really looking forward to blooming!!
