Phragmipedium Sunset Glow 4N

My Phragmipedium Sunset Glow 4N is here! Last summer it had an accident causing the spike creased then died off. I was very disappointed. I tried to save it by putting a piece of tape wrapped around it. But it eventually dried off. Then it started a new growth and got big. I guess the energy spent on the new growth since the spike was gone. It took a year to see a spike to form. I am extremely careful this time around. This summer, it grew much larger and the flower looks very nice! My patience pays off!

It's good and it's not toothy like so many of the 4N Sunset Glow I've seen.

I was surprise to see that is not toothy. I also saw a few other sunset glow that has teeth. Wonder why....
