That hybrid almost always has weird, almost imbricated, foliage. I think I was there when you got it from Orchids Limited. Zephyrus had them at one time also.

My Jason Fischers seem to bloom sequentially with several blooms, maybe 6 or so.....I haven't counted the bracts.

slippertalk, I think I should write: "one or 2 blooms on the same time on the same stem". Because my 2 Jason Fisher and my Robert C. Silich bloomed sequentially with serveral blooms too. More than 6 for at least one JF and for the RCS.
