This one is more like pink lightning. I will be curious to see if the color is more saturated in cooler weather.

I wouldn’t doubt that at all, Darlene. Now that it’s growing on my hot deck in NC, rather than in my PA greenhouse!it flowers much paler, too.

Thanks, Ray. Hopefully the next blooming will be in a cooler month. This summer has been very hot for Ohio.

Richard this one can from Seattle Orchids also. So maybe that is just the color for these. Was yours warm when it bloomed?
Ish.... It first flowered back in April I think.... It's done now. It was on a west side of the greenhouse bench. Typically a warmer spot in the greenhouse. Had 4 or 5 long lasting flowers. Not what I was hoping for, but I like it none the less.. I have 2 large seedlings of the cross from Marilyn. Hopefully they will be different.

Thanks for the pictures, Richard! Yours has more color than mine. I will be curious to see both of them bloom again.
