This has been in constant bloom since March, with still one last bud to follow.

The new growth is monstrous, as I was warned! There is a secondary new growth starting as well. Hopefully I'll get another spike as good as this one or maybe better..

Yes, the "typical" form of this species is HUGE, one might say it has long foliage! The good news is, these can stay in bloom almost indefinitely since as one spike is going out, the next one is starting to bloom, and the plant is usually pretty vigorous so there's almost always at least one spike going.
