Phragmipedium Frank Smith

I purchased this from Woodstream a year or two ago as either China Dragon or Frank Smith. The tags had gotten mixed up. I would have been fine with either one. But I am very excited to see it bloom out as a Frank Smith. It is hard to believe this is a first time bloomer. It is already one of my largest Phrags.



I will work on the photo sizes in future post.

Just about the size of my hand. The flower is huge.

Such a lovely color and I love the twisty petals.
If this is a first bloom, the dorsal will improve
as the plant matures.
