I wish I could capture the red more accurately. It is the deepest red phrag in my collection. This cross is from Fox Valley breeding and was registered in 2019.

It will put on a good show this year. So far there are three flowers spike. Can't wait for the last one to open.

The red hues will be very sensitive to the temperature of the light settings in the camera. You could try adjusting that in Photoshop, if you have it.
 
I just realized this is actually Early Surprise. Could someone correct the name to Phragmipedium Early Surprise?

Thanks all. I just use the S/H pots but I don't grow it in S/H. My Phrag results with S/H are fine but other methods are better.

Linus - I am not sure if there is one that is truly better. My preference is either bark mix or rockwool. I am leaving the Phrags in S/H in S/H. No reason to change them.
