Darlene, these flowers are so interesting and very eye catching. I've never seen a light pouch with the bright red
petals and dorsal. Is this combination unusual?

Thanks all! This one came from @tomkalina some time ago. Its been a very robust grower, especially once the second growth took off a few years ago.

Is this combination unusual?
I am not sure if it is unusual. I have not seen many dalessandroi in person. This one has always shown this color combination. This year is more pronounced.

Very nice, what's your address?!? :p
Ha! Not after all the B&E encouragement i have given others on this forum.

Not unusual to have a lighter colored pouch than petals for this species. (See photo of the Phrag. d'alessandroi 'Fox Valley' CHM-AOS clone attached.) Sometimes cooler temps during bud development will darker the pouch color.
