These normally bloom for me a little later and again while outside over the summer. Just two flowers. I would of waited for the second to open...but it might drop the first. This plant and quite a few other Phrags are actually under T12’s and not in front of a window. More light and/or outdoors would of made shorter inflorescences and a couple more blooms per inflorescence.A4223ADE-CD00-40CD-A18A-42A33C552D56.jpeg206015C0-EE32-4341-9F0C-1237E762C402.jpegC7164DD5-CC26-4B68-98BE-A46913533213.jpeg

love this cross... and yours looks fun...

has it been your experience that spike length on these is significantly influenced by the amount of light they get?

...and does your plant always flower with that speckly chin? very fun.... :)

Normally I have these in front of a south facing window, with T5’s over them. This year they have been bumped to a T12 fixture with no window. The inflorescence does not look abnormally long but the number of blooms per inflorescence is less. As far as the speckled chin...I’m guessing that has happened in the past, but, I have another one spiking, we will see if it is speckled!
