I would like to announce that the Windy Hill has two large, beautiful blooms open. I bought a division over a
year ago and have watched the development with anticipation. It's a gorgeous bloom and I'd post a photo
if I had anything to take a picture with...sorry.

Marilyn has really first rate Phrags.:clap::clap:

Yes, of course, Erythrone. I'm so excited I forgot to type
the whole name. Forgive me. I also have Phrag. albopurpureum 'Chinook' in spike and have no idea what
the cross is or where I got it. Anyone got info.?

Eric, I assume without actually looking that Marilyn has
a photo somewhere on her website since the plant was
awarded.

Albopurpureum =Dominianum (caudatum x caricinum) x schlimii. There are pictures on the Slippertalk forum! :p
I think Chinook is an OZ name. It was used on a pink/salmon besseae.
You can always ask about the photo.

I trust you. I don't trust the weather. It's hideously cold
here. Of course, you can come visit. Bound to be slightly
warmer here...speaking relatively, you know. Night temp. is
10F right now and goin' down.

Slightly warmer? It's been in the mid 30's the past two days. Of course, before that we've had two weeks of below 0ºF at night, and single digit days. Only 3 more months of Winter!
