In regards to the different growth styles of some Bessae hybrids. In this particular case,the plant doesn't need the wet tray treatment,and throws out aerial runners which I guess attach to the rock faces,in one of the originating parents.You can see the runners in the photo.This is kept in a south facing window without a lot of concern regarding humidity.

I have this Phrag. and it doesn't walk out of the pot. It also looks quite pale in
the photo compared to mine. Perhaps a bit less light? Repot? What is in the
potting medium? Interesting development.
 
the roots are quite healthy,in Cattleya mix,and it sits in a south window .But in reality,the leaves are about the same colour as daylily. So maybe,this Waunakee is just aberrant.
