Phrag question

Here is a picture and tag of one of my phrags that has been putting up this spike for awhile. Doesn’t seem to have any blooms in spike. Are there future blooms coming??

Be patient. I assume this is the first spike on a new growth. Sometimes it's a rather
slow process.

It should! As long as culture remains good sometimes it does take awhile especially if it’s a new plant and recently changed environments.

You can check to see if there is a bud in the apical sheath by very gently feeling it between the thumb and fore finger. If there is, there should be a ‘bump’.

Maybe need to define 'for a while'.

A flower spike normally leads to flowering ----- that's if everything develops normally.

No, didn't even notice the link. Now I'll have to do it. Fortunately, my
large sedenii is blooming and branching now, so I didn't freak out.
