Overall, I do question it if it's a pearcei or not cause of the size of the plant, stem and flower.
 
My humble opinion is that your suspicion is correct. That is not a Phrag. pearcei. I think it's a Phrag. richteri.

In any case a nice specimen.

I just bought a pearcei from Windy Hill a month or so ago
and the growth pattern on my plant looks quite different
from the one pictured above. It hasn't bloomed so far, but
is certainly mature enough. It will be interesting to see if
it's actually pearcei. I don't mind at all if it looks like your plant. I like it.
 
It seems to be Phrag. richteri (the natural hybrid) as said above, or Phrag. Taras... (man-made pearcei x boissierianum).
