Awarded in 1988, this little gem continues to reward us every summer with a beautiful display of flowers. Photographed this morning in a sunny greenhouse, this species is perfect for the Phrag. lover with limited space.

Just an FYI; this clone was originally awarded as Phrag. ecuadorense and the species epithet was changed to reflect modern thinking.

Just anecdotally, my ecuadorense 'Si' is nothing even close in
appearance to pearcei. Perhaps I have a misidentified plant. I've been
considering pitching ecuadorense for non performance with close to ideal
conditions for the plant. Now I have no idea what it really is...oh my.

I would love to open the photo but this is what happens when I try. Not just yours but this happens to many photos. Admins? What am I doing wrong? Thank you.
