(besseae x schlimii)

This one has produced flowers a deep rose these last two years. I don't mind the latest result.

It's getting warmer now in the growing room, which probably explains why it's not as dark as before. This is the period between the heating and the cooling. I'll probably install the air conditionning within a week or two. There is also more light coming in from the eastern facing windows.

That's a pretty stunningly colored HP, it seems to have gotten a very heavy influence from schlimii.

Actually, I think the schlimii influence is xanthic and would make the cross lighter with more influence. Yay besseae hybrids! Is it fragrant?

Have your wife or GF smell it and see if they detect a fragrance.

Have you tried to smell it in sunlight? I have eastern sunlignt in my grow room this time of year and that may help activate the perfume.
