Hi
Bought at great expense from Ratcliffes a couple of years ago and flowering for the first time.
The label says EY 13393 ( Eric Young 4n 'Mont Millais' AM/RHS x Hanne Popow 4n 'Jersey' AM/RHS ) so must be originally from the EYOF.
I have to say that I am less than impressed with the flower coming from such an exalted cross. Pretty enough but no great shakes at just 3 inches across.
However the plant is a climber and the roots from this growth are a bit stunted although the growth is ok.
I will make a greater effort with the next one to get the roots growing well and maybe things will improve.
Regards
David

4N plants are slow growing. When it gets up to full size maybe it'll produce more and better blooms. If not, you can send it on a vacation to NYC. :p Yay besseae hybrids!
