This is the 3rd successful spike on this fischeri. For this spike I knocked off the first bud, the second blasted before it opened, but 3's a charm. (and we'll see if we get more:wink:)

Congratulations! I'm hopeful for the youngun' I have from
Piping Rock. So far, so good. Any advice you can give
will be deeply appreciated. I'm actually scared to death
of the plant. It seems soooo delicate. Your bloom is gorgeous.

I went through a handful of these back when I was using regular MSU and adding a bunch of oyster shell for their "high calcium needs". They stayed really small, pathetic, and died as single growth plants.

In comparison taking away most of the K and no pot supplements this plant has grown quickly, puts up tons of roots with growths almost a 10" across. I think it just started its 6th growth (although the first three have died off).

Its in an aircone pot using a CHC mix with only charcoal and perlite added. The pot is overgrown with live moss.

Thanks Rick. Mine is a tiny one growth plant so six growths
is a dream for me. It's still in the original potting mix and
I fertilize with K-Lite and use rain water for flushing. Send
good growth vibes my way.

So do I, Eron.

Very nice one Rick!!!!

(first bud to open here today!)

Very cool Jean. Do you know the source of your plant?

I wouldn't mind swapping pollen for some unrelated breeding.

Last year this thing spontaneously produced a seed capsule that I sent to TM and they have seedlings coming up from it. So it selfs very easy
