Don't think it's a straight caricinum either. If you review the AOS awards photos for this species, there are several that are questionable. A really good example of a true caricinum is one that was awarded in Atlanta : the 'Aileen' clone. (see photo).

A nice specimen, but it is a Phrag. pearcei, not caricinum.
