(Mem. Dick Clements 4n x Twilight '#4' 4n)

This is a first-bloom and the color is a super-intense red (when the flash doesn't wash it out). It's been a wonderful surprise this winter. It doesn't hold the flowers really upright, but I'm hoping that will improve next time around.

I too am pretty much in love with besseae hybrids. This one and a few other I have are 4n and I think it really makes a difference in their vigor and willingness to flower. Who said a little genetic manipulation was bad ;-)

True and they have the tendency of having serration on the petals and bums on the lip.
