Phrag besseae

The red one is 'Bleeding Heart' x 'Colassal' and was one of the besseae in Frank's besseae lined river at the WOC. My peach one is 'Smokin' x Haven' which I had gotten from Piping Rock. I wish my yellow one was in bloom for this portrait.

I always enjoy my Phrags Heather. It is just that not many have been in bloom to share. I wanted to divide my Patti McHale this year, I cut the spikes after the last flower fell in October and there are now new spikes forming...I missed my small window It is such a long bloomer.

The red one I selected, the peach is OK quality, it is a bit small, but this is also it's first bloom.
