Just listed three (two remaining) Phrag. besseae ('Redstart' x 'Fox Valley' FCC/AOS) compots in the "Compots" section of the foxvalleyorchids.com website this afternoon. Each large compot has a minimum of twenty-five seedlings, with the largest having 5-6 inch leaf spans and ready for individual pots. Limit of one per customer. Here's a photo of one of the compots.

Tom, So it looks like your compots are recovering after you moved them back to fir bark from the orchiata. How are those Fox Valley Fireball doing?

Effective this morning, we are sold out of the P. besseae compots (we only had three). Thanks to those of you that took advantage of this great opportunity to add to your collections; they were really nice looking compots.

For others, who might be more interested in very compact growing Phrag. hybrids with colorful flowers, I just added this item to the website: Phrag. Will Chantry (besseae 'Red Giant' x klotzscheanum 'Red Ribbons'). Chock full (25 seedling minimum) of very vigorously growing seedlings that should reach blooming size in only 18 months. Flower color will range from peach to rose-red (probably more toward rose-red). Three compots available.
