I got this two years ago. Finally flowered nicely. Still a small plant and grows so slowly. Yeay bessae!!!!

Great flower. The petals are SIGNIFICANTLY wider than any I've seen. I can understand Eric's comment, but I don't know what you could cross with a besseae to get this result. I think you have another winner here. Mike
 
Wow that is a very nice and interesting flower! But at first glance my impression was kovackii hybrid.... Is it possible to see picture from different angle from the pouch...

Fritz Schomburg x besseae = Robert-Jan Quené look something like that!
 
I have seen photos of a Saint Ouen from OZ that looked very similar on eBay. I did not win any of them. If it's a straight besseae it is remarkable.
