the flower picture is exactly the same, the second one is the same one with the background changed to black by photoshop, without any modifiation of the flower color

In this case I would choose the black. (Lovely flower!) If you could highlight the blossom with out of focus foliage in the background, well, that would be extra-nice. Then again, I realize it depends on what you're going for.
