Have you considered mounting it with sphag.? I grow this type of Phal. either mounted or in a basket with long fibered coco. This type doesn't seem to enjoy being wet very long.

Angela, this came mounted and I took it off the mount because I can't really grow stuff mounted here. It's probably not as happy now..
