Phalaenopsis gigantea 'Meir #1' HCC/AOS

Not as many flowers as last year when it was awarded with 118 flowers. Nonetheless it is still my favorite flower.

Largest measures 5.4 cm NS. When it blooms just a few flower, size would increase to 6.5 cm NS. Usually bloom twice a year, January/February and May/June when there is more light. It skips flowering this February because it was carrying a few seedpods.

Very impressive plant. Don't know what I like more, the leaves or the flowers.
