Hello,
I started growing orchids more than 25 years ago.
My first orchid was a Cymbidium and the following were
Cattleya, Laelia, Phalaenopsis, Vanda and Paphiopedilum.
First I grew my orchids on the windowsill and in summer
in a self builded greenhouse. Later I bought a greenhouse
for summer and since 20 years I have a conservatory
(Wintergarten) where I grew my orchids now.
My favourite Paphios are of the subgenus Parvisepalum,
Brachypetalum, Mastigopetalum and Mystropetalum.
I am the second chairman of our group Mittelhessen of
the German Orchid Society.
