This is a terrestrial from the lowland forest in Peru. Elevations at around 150 meters. I found at least 4 distince leaf variations from plain green leaves to leaves with straight stripes. I only have photo of this one plant variation here.
It probably is in the Erythrodes genera.

Flowers over a long period on 12 to 18 inch tall spikes.

A different variation or even a different specie?

This one might be in the Pelexia genera but had similiar foliage.

Ummm, if these are growing here in the good old U.S. of A., did you have to get permits to bring them here?..

WOAH! Circle the Wagons!

No, these plants are not here in the USA. They are in Peru. I did not bring any plants from Peru. All the plants from Peru that I show photos of are wild. As such they can not be legally imported into the USA.

That includes the ones in the pots?

Ha! I knew someone would ask that one.

Yes wild and legal.
Perhaps the growth you are seeing in the picture was grown in the pot so it is only a little wild.
I suspect anything to do with you is a little wild, "lance gonewild"!:poke:
