Penang, Malaysia..d home of fabulous paphs.
After 5 years of cultivation from a large seedling, it finally bloomed...!!:D It was sold as P. laycockii, but I don't think that's what it is, though... I think it might be Paraphalaenopsis Boediardjo (denevei x laycockii). Only 5 flowers this time, and it has a very peculiar fragrance... Smells like come kind of rubbing oil...

Jean, I'm afraid you may have to wait a while... I heard that labukensis is the slowest growing among all of them... There are other hybrids that I want to get my hands on... Sunny, Kimmy etc... but they are not often sold, so I have to go and search for them... :)
