    I went to the National Capital Orchid Society show this morning and took these pics of slipper orchids, I will post non-slipper orchid pics also in the other pic section.:)

    RE: the "Mem Larry Heuer" in the third pic post, left-most image. Strangely curious petal fuzz, staminode pattern, and dorsal width and form. ;)

    It's a slightly veiled reference to the likelyhood that in this case the plant tagged as Mem Larry Heuer, which is a Paph. emersonii (legal plant in the U.S.), is probably really a Paph. hangianum (illegal plant in the U.S.) hybrid based on the characteristics Ernie mentioned.
