Paphiopedilum villosum var. boxallii

I looked at the parent plant today. The newest leaf is faintly mottled. However, the seedlings show a mottling more typical of hybrids with tessealted parents. Still, its too soon to know for sure....will just have to let them grow more. Fortunately, many of them are growing fast.

How do you know that is one of the parents used in our selfings???

Tom- I'm not so sure that mine is a selfing. The seedlings are showing some distinct, but faint, mottling.
