One of my multigrowth vietnamenses is opening with a huge dark flower! The pouch is like a dark red pomegranate. And the petals look like they may saturate with dark red raspberry throughout.

So exciting.

No streaks so far and ready for judging on Saturday yayyy! Just a tiny tooth on the pouch.

The anticipation is killing me 🥹.

I named it as such because it looks like a lantern.

Well it’s opening so nicely!

Pretty flat looking to me. What do you folks think?

Have I scared it by touching it lol?

Still stretching based on the petal tips with more tissue. Hope petals expand wider. But I’m not complaining lol.

I also love the white halo in center. NS 12.5 cm.
