A first flowering Paph. Now registered as Paphiopedilum Duccio di Buoninsegna.

Very cute. I assume this is pretty small growing?

The diameter of the pot is 9cm /3.5''

I'm quite happy that the flower is so big but the plant so small!
By doing this cross I hoped for small plants and flowers with large patals and dorsal. I didn't expect such a large flower and I'm surprised about the fact that the dorsal isn't reflext very much like in helenae. The dull brownish colors aren't my cup of tea, but these are the colors the parents have too.

good one--how many still to flower?
Unfortunately I got only ten seedling back from lab in 2015. This lab isn't quite good for Paphs, but does ok with most.
Onother one of the ten is in flower, but it came out without a pouch. Maybe it will flower better next year.
