Paphiopedilum Shin-yi Williams (multi-floral)

This is my Paphiopedilum Shin-yi Williams
(William Ambler x rothschildianum 'New Horizon' FCC/AOS)
I am so pleased with the impressive size of the flowers, their color, and the stately and elegant way they are born on the stem. Almost 36" tall by 30" across.

Very nice. This cross seems to be the flavour of the month at the moment. The tall spike seems to be a constant in this hybrid obviously coming from the wilhelminiae.

But i just love this one. No matter how you look at it, its a big, imposing plant/bloom thats also very elegant..
