Paphiopedilum Raphael Urbinas 'La Fornarina'

This is Paphiopedilum Raphael Urbinas 'La Fornarina' (niveum x Honey Plume 'Halo' FCC/RHS). Unfortunately all his brothers and sisters didn't bloom as nice as this one. So 'La Fornarina' is the only one I kept. In real live this flower is soo delicate, as a very thin fine bone chine. I'm so sorry that I can't capture this with a photograph.

very nice breeding. The niveum completely suppressed the green/yellow.

In fact, the leaves are glossy and have a nice dark mottling AND there is a fine red spotting at the underside of the leaves as well!

I'm not normally a lover of complex Paphs. but this is quite lovely, and an excellent photo, too.
